Scan, import and share

Tap Scan Document to use Apple’s document camera, or add pages From Photos or From Files. The document opens with an automatic name. Tap Share PDF to send it with the iOS share sheet.

In Edit Pages you can reorder, rotate, include or leave out pages, delete pages (with Undo) and add more. Search finds documents by their name or the text inside them.

Clean, Original and Black & White

Available from version 1.0.1. Each page has a look. Clean is the default for camera and Photos pages. Original is the page before PDF Envelope’s clean-up: for a camera page, the page as Apple’s document camera captured and cropped it; for a photo, the photo resized to at most 2400 pixels. Black & White is also available.

If a page looks wrong, open Edit Pages, tap the wand on that page and choose Original.

Limits

A document can hold up to 100 pages and 150 MB, and each imported file can be up to 50 MB. PDFs that need a password to open aren’t supported.

PDF Envelope is free. There are no purchases, subscriptions or accounts.
